I just can't imagine buying anything that says polaris down the side. No offense i am sure some of you have had good luck with them but everyone i have ever rode or ridden with other people has had problems.

 

I raced(in the sand) a baja that was just piped, and we were about dead even in a long race, so yeah they are fast, but the preds are fast too. Why don't you think the preds can be fast??

 

the baja and the X do come with a lot more stuff than the predator...the X has a **** load of stuff!

I was getting wheelspin at over 90km/h (that's 55mph or so) on a dirt trail with my Pred on the weekend. If that's not pretty good power, then you're jaded... and it's stock.

 

i might be wrong but the polaris in those pics and race results looked to me to be all two stroke? preditor is a good quad but stock for stock it's not going to out run the ds. the baja x does come with a lot of stuff and the after market is getting more stuff out for the ds finally.

 

The pred is still a 4stroke, and the sport is a 2 stroke.....yeah i know the ds can beat a pred stock for stock, although i think the pred would get a good jump on it at first....but the preds mods are comming out like crazy too..i guess time will only tell.

 

the best stock quad is the yfz hands down...

 

So that's that, huh? Yfz is the best? Ok, by me as I work at a Yamaha/Kawasaki/Bomb. dealer, so can get a deal on one. I think I've narrowed it down to YFZ, V-force, Predator, and maybe Raptor. I still cant figure out why the Raptor doesnt get better reviews from every one here.

 

The raptor does get good reviews, go post that in the yamaha side....they love it.....I think it is a pile of crap.....I would personally decide between the pred and the yfz, of course I'm going to say go with the pred..
