Traitor....I would have a trx250r right now if I could have found one in good enough shape. Instead I'm stuck with a thumper. DO NOT GO OVER TO THE DARKSIDE!!!

maybe the reason for handling the kfx with more ease in a slow track is because the kfx has a shorter wheelbase and the pred has almost a 51 inch base, 2 more inches, which I think means less control with corners and powersliding at low speeds, I'd bet if you rode the same quads again on a high speed track or in the dunes that you'd rather prefer the predator over the kfx.

I don't see how the pred could break more easily than the kfx, it has over 2 more inches of travel front and back compared to the kfx. And about trails, they both would do good, if its in the woods with lots of trees i'd get the kfx since you can get out of tight spots easily plus the reverse. If its the kind of trails I go to with barely any trees in your path, then i'd get the pred.

I've ridden my Pred along with 30+ other machines that were mostly utilities. I get through woods faster than the utilities for sure. The steering is precise enough that you can get through tight spots quickly... but it's a wide machine, real wide... like most other sport quads.

There's so much power there that you can get a Predator out of almost any spot.

I would never transform.......I love my 2-strokes and will always have 2-strokes. I'm just saying that I would like to also have a modern machine to go along with the rest of the corral.

Predator is heavier than most quads.

Regurgitation. The Predator on real scales is not all that much heavier.

I have raced and rode with predators and I think they are grossly underestimated. Now with the new LE models out they got the looks and a great pricetag. You get a lot of items youd be coughing up cash for on other quads later.
