You need to talk to sandbomber. From His profile I think he could give you exact reasons why to buy the Shee or why to buy the DS. He has the best of both worlds, from his pics and times he has a couple of sick shees, and a wicked DS to go along with it. I ride a lot of trails and before I bought my X i looked hard at shees and the DSs just like you. Both are very reliable and proven quads. The shee has been a great quad for so many years it was tough to decide for me also. I rode the shee and then went and sat on the DS and just liked the feel of it much more than the shee. So now I have a baja X. I would try and talk with sandbomber first, he should be able to answer every question for you.

I have owned both and theres no way I would change back to the shee.

top speed and quick are different, the banshees are quicker, gearing controls the top speed, the ds might not be as slow as many might think, seems ds was in the pase lap at indy a few years ago had to go over a hundred, so if quick is what you want banshee top speed research more, and i've rode with sandbomber my 720 is right there with his 418 shee
