Alright i really needa know which one is better because im getting real close to getting either one now. Im going to be doing mostly open field and trail riding (not real tight trails), and i just want whatever one is going to beat the KFX700 in a drag because my friend that has the kfx700 talks so much trash...so please help!

as far as speed, I can tell you this, a friend has a Banshee (all stock), my DS has a Big Gun exhaust andK&N filter. on a flat road, the Banshee was topped out and I could have easily passed him, but we were on a blacktop road and I didn't want to. Banshee are really fun and you can get an older one for a resonable amount of money. but I love my DS and would never get anything else. the DS is big and comfy and great for fields

 

i think a DS and a banshee would beat a KFX 700 but i'd go with a banshee they are much better for modding

I have run my brothers Shee many times.
We are equal in weight and exp.

Stock Vs. Stock. My Ds by 2 lengths and pulling.
Piped and jetted vs. piped and jetted. My Ds by 2 lengths.
Now Its not even close. Hes big bore and stroked vs. my stage 1. He kills me.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

yea well i wont be doing any Boring and stroking...probably just...jetting...pipes, K&nN...stuff like that if i get the DS650 i know i will be getting the mr. hp end cap and CDI box and K&N...but what i really want to do is beat the KFX700...and i just want the best bike outa the banshee or DS650... I know the DS650 is more reliable

 

they are both great bikes. u really cant go wrong with either if your trying to beat a 700. if u like the way a two stroke rides with high rpms then i would go with the banshee, if u like the torque and arm ripping power i would go with a ds.. the shee is cheaper to mod out but the suspension is way better on a ds.....kinda a tuff desition. i got a ds and i wouldnt trade it for any shee....almost any..lol.
