Woods Quad

for those of you who say the weight of the kawis is a problem...have you ridden them? To me I really cant feel the difference...the power is there to push that "dead weight iron" around. Sure you can go to a lighter quad...but then the issue of shifting comes into play...if it is a course with alot of semi tight turns you will be shifting up and down up and down...with the autos you never have to worry about what gear to be in...just the terrain in front of you...and also with the kawis you dont have to worry about breaking a chain because there is none...and the ground clearnce is alot better then a quad with the conventional sprocket and chain....just my .02

Yup, ridden the V-force, Baja, and Prarie. All to big for my taste. Shifting is part of the fun. Some of us can shift AND navigate a trail, AT THE SAME TIME!
But snox, sure you won't need a 4X4???

Why doesn't anybody consider the Raptor in woods? I love the torque of mine and the reverse. You get stuck, you can usually put it in reverse and it'll move. And when you got some open space, the other folks with you won't know what happend.
