Dropping a couple teeth off the front sprocket is the best way to do that. Or if you are really different you can put smaller tires on the rear at the cost of some ground clearence.

In my experience, dropping even one tooth in front is a BIG change.........usually to big a change! Try going one or two teeth bigger in back, as a compromise.

The stock bike is really lame on low end power. I did an FMF PowerBomb Header, Ti-4 Muffler, K&N, and vented airbox, and got the low end that the stock bike is missing!

Add a couple teeth in the back or if you dont care about top end too much go 1 smaller in the front.

Dropping a tooth up front is a sure way to gain bottom end, but you will sacrafice a bit on top.

i got a question, how much top end (like top speed) can you gain on a stock bike by changing sprockets? and what changes would be best?
