Actually, he is correct on the raptor reading. The stock engine stops making power around 7 grand and it drops like a rock from there. Most of the good aftermarket pipes dont peak until about 8k and have a lot less drop off. But its not really a good idea to rev your bike to the limiter on every run. If you do, you wont have a bike for long. Any good rider will shift before the bike starts losing significant power. So this extra hp at redline really doesnt come into play.

There are too many factor's to determine what will beat what. Banshee's are fast with the right engine work, but so aren't big bore four strokes with the right mod's and work.

I have about $800 in mods in my shee an have yet to see a rappy with equal amount of $$$ be as fast. But who knows. Not saying with the right builder and $$$$ they cant be really fast. ON the other hand I have seen a shee with about the equal mods as me now run slower then my shee was stock. I couldn't understand it, But I rode it and it was just slower. But piped and jetted right there is no reason that you couldn't beat any stock quad. And throw that stupid boost bottle away!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT's NOT A MOD.

Mod for mod or dollar for dollar the four strokes dont have an icecube's chance in hell.
a raptor can get 14 extra pike horsepower with jetting, airfilter, and a pipe with 30 horsepower at redline

What have you been smoking. May be at the crank. No way at the rear wheels. 30 extra hp with pipe, jetting and airfilter. Think again.
it actuly can. if u spent n e time doing research on the net, you will c that every formidable race shop will say that the raptor is VERY restrictive in the stock trim. the stock equipment yamaha put on it cant handle n e thing after 6000 without getting very restrictive
