Default stoppies

i have been trying to stoppies but evertime i try i cant get the back up can anybody give me good advice

As you are mashing the front brakes, steer the wheels slightly either direction and mash harder until you get too far then let off and kind of tap it, thats what i do on the R.

lean forward a lot. I notice if you stick your legs out and forward it helps also. Some terrain is extremely difficult to try and do it in thogh.

when learning you could try to put your legs over the bars...as added weight to the front...and as a safety incase you do go too far you can just put your legs down

I wouldnt suggest that because once you get comfortable doing wheelies like that, then you will want to do them with your legs down so now your so used to catching yourself with your legs that it makes it harder to want to pull the rear end up and since you are used to catching yourself you may go over easier.

yea i see your point...but thats how i learned em and now i can do em great without putting my feet over the handlebars

I know what you mean, ive done them the same way you described, shhhh, lol, Its an ok way to learn, but you just dont want to get too used to catching yourself [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
