What to pick.
Honestly, if you are looking for more power and a good trail quad, I'd go with a Raptor. Great low end, great top end, good on the trails and a pretty plush ride. If you are dead set on the Honda or the YFZ, I'd say go with the Honda - the YFZ seat is rock hard, and the shocks are set up for the MX track - not the softest ride for trail riding.

definately the 450R...
It is far more comfortable
Comes with really nice shocks
Kickstart is a plus, you will never get stranded unless u run out of gas!
IMO it looks way better!
Has the 2 separate oil sumps, one for the clutch and the other for engine oil.....keeps the cluctch contaminents from mixing in with the engine oil, PLUS u can change the oil wt on the clutch side!
RELIABILITY!!!!!!!.....they arent known to just BLOW UP like the YFZ is!!! (srry yfz ppl....but its the truth)
just a few things to consider...

The 450r is more comfortable in the trails than the YFZ. I race so I chose the YFZ.Both are damn good bikes. As far as YFZ's blowing up there sick660 I don't recall you ever owning one.Your Raptor on the other hand is a sad story. When you start changing the engine configuration on any quad, bike or whatever then you are asking for reliability issues;I don't care who makes it.Go to DUNCAN racing website and checkout the bigbore kits for the Z-400.You'll notice they post the reliability rating with each kit(The bigger you go the less reliable it becomes).Yoshimura is no different. You never see Doug Gust having problems with his YOSHI quad right? That would be because the don't use the same quad for more than 3 races. Why do you think that is?My guess is that they are worried about reliability.I'll shut up now;I never meant to get this deep into this...................sorry
