Default yfz vs. gas gas 300

Chances are they werent all stock execpt for the porting and pipes. Usually before someone gets it ported they put reed cages in too.

gotta back it up. my bros 87 shee is dyno'd @ 60 and its got a nice port job and pipes with carbs. The job on my gas gas is major they opened up the power valve, major port on the exhaust,and intake its also case reed induction like the new hondas. carbon fiber reeds to go in the stock boysen power valve. lightened the stock wisco piston and coated it also. Running 50/50 race gas premium around 100 octane If you cant believe its a 20 hp job call Motowest thell tell ya all about it. Sorry man its the real deal!!

how can u say he was backing u up lol. he just told u they can get 20hp from porting a gas gas and u said u couldnt. its a major port, but a port job none the less

the stage 1 kit from motowest that ltsrfaster is running is pipe, piston(coated, etc), porting, head mods(complete re-shape), a cylinder shim plate, & jetting... race gas required. i'm sure he's running no alternator either, dropping 11 onces off the flywheel too, just as i am.... freeing up more hp.

i had a suzuki LT that would run faster than stock banshees & almost stay up w/ piped/ported ones on the dunes... all it had was jetting, pipe/silencer, & K&N. saying that a newer technology 2- stroke with another 50 cc can't whoop on the same bikes is wrong.

um, what he is saying is that after doing all that it made a 20hp boost. That is realistic, getting a stock quad off the showroom floor and just porting it and putting pipes on it, wont boost you up a 300ex motor. This guy put reeds, carbs, everything.

WHite bros what day were U at jack frost?I was there on oct 23 an was riding the bike and quad track .I was half way around the track on my mojave when a yfz hit the track it railed an handled like it had no bizness doing I got passed eventually an I wasnt riding like a slouch either.I was Looking for a gas gas but the price kinda turns my stomache an In NJ Where are the dealership networks if it broke?

its true motowest do a 20 hp kit, we have had it done to several of our bikes, it is a genuine twenty horsepower, head modified barrell ported and polished reed cage slightly modified, carbon fibre reeds, coated piston and run on race gas, better than that steve at motowest just built us a 300 engine with a long rod and the 20hp tune, it was dynoed at 65hp at the rear wheel, its eating up the competion were we are, banshees are a thing of the past, its an old engine ,ok dont fix it if its not broke, but gas gas are a serious contender and in my mind they made the most race ready atv on the market, yamaha cant even get close.

Ben, you said gas gas has low low prices, they are actually more expensive than the other ones, and are supposed to be competetive to the new 450s.
