300ex rear brake master cylender !

Default 300ex rear brake master cylender !

I blew mine this weekend on a hill at that. I priced out the rebuild kit and it's 45 bucks not too bad I guess also broke my chain the master link let go!

Yeah but the parts arn't thr ones that I wanted to buy! What I need is a new set of rear tires for the
winter.

Default 300ex rear brake master cylender !

I havn't had a chance to get a look at the brakes yet but I have herd that the piston in the rear caliper could have let go aswell. Has anyone had this problem or herd of it ?

my X has the same problem i fixed it but now i cant get it mounted back correctly

So what was your problem was it the master cylender or the caliper in the rear?

the cylinder in the capilber was mine it was full of mud and rust

Default 300ex rear brake master cylender !

My brakes worked fine up untill the point when they let go. When they let go it made a snap sound and now the pettal has no feel to it (no resistance) But the brakes arn't stuck on or anything. Also where do you fill the brake fluid for the rear at?

you may have broke the spring in the master cyclinder above the rear brake pedal also mine is under the right rear fender above the rear tire

If you look at the master cylender as you press the pedal you can see the piston being pressed in on the master cylender!
