wow, i bet that would hurt like hell dont you think? LOL... anyways guys, i just wanted to get ya'lls attention, i need a little bit of advice and i KNOW that you guys are all sick of hearing people like me beg for a little bit of your vast knowlege in this field, but i really need to know if this is a good idea or if it wont work all together.

alright.... a while back my dad got to ride a 2000 blaster or something like that... he said it was really fast through the gears but wasnt as fast as my 300EX was *it was bored .30over high compression piston and that stuff on it* the blaster was stock. welll anyways to make a really long story short i sold the 300EX a while back and i would really like to get back into riding and i would like to try racing. i want to race GNCC races... something through the woods im not really into motoX. so what i am asking is, can a blaster do alright in GNCC races? does it do good in the woods? i figured since it could accellerate quickly and its gears were close ratios i figured it would do pretty well in tight trails and stuff... but i have searched this site and havnt found much info in them racing harescrambles and stuff. my next question is, is ther a class for them? i am 18 yrs old... i have ridden bikes/quads for 12-13 yrs of my life.... i have a DRZ400 that i ride now so its not like im new to the whole riding deal. i am actually a pretty good rider..i have raced people on a few differnt bikes and i have whooped them pretty bad... it doesnt matter what i race them on or what i race against i normally have found a way to beat them in the woods... just beacuse i know my bikes and i know what they will do and what i have to do to get them to go wher i want them to go. *the last hting i beat was a 2001 DR200 , not a very fast bike... but i beat him on a 1989 DR100.. bone stock LOL* so i do consider myself to know how to ride. so if you guys would just give me the best bike out there for me to start racing with that would be great. just tell me my options... i would like to stay small for now.. i dont want to get up into classes with the big 450's and such... i would like to race against 300 and 400EX's maybe mojaves, blasters... and stuff like that.... i dont want to race rappys and 450Rs on my first time on the track. any info would be awesome guys.

PS- what are my options in differnt classes anyways? i am not gonna get put up against 450Rs and stuff if i race a blaster right? how much modding can you do on a bike in each class? i live in Ohio too btw.... i am about an hour away from the PowerLine Park track... i would like to race that this year. but i am gonna spend most of the summer building a quad when i figure out which is the best for me.

hey... what about the 300EX? i had one but it was an older one... it was a 1993 model... i was pretty fast in my opinion, but it didnt run just right... would one of those be a better choice through the woods than a blaster? what about a warrior? ive heard they are more powerful than the 300EX but i also know that the rear shock has probs with it...... ive never raced before on a real track but i would love to try it... i just a little info guys. thanks. i really dont want to downsize... BUT, i have never raced before.. what class would i have to run in with a 400EX vs a blaster? i would like to build a rep for myself racing and i figure to do that you should start at the bottom and work your way up. but i co uld be wrong.. maybe you can start at the bottom on a 400ex.. i dont know for sure... thats why i was asking you guys about this stuff. if i get a 400EX *which i did think about* what classes could i run? what am i going to be up against? how fast are they through the woods? how fast are they? i need some info guys! LOL where are all the old timers with all this knowlege when you need em?!?!
