hey everyone... to make a really long story short, i want to race GNCC... i have 12 yrs riding expirience so i am not a newbie or anything to riding. anyways what would be the best woods bike to race GNCC with? rappy? 400ex? 250r? 300ex? z400? which is gonna be better? also i DO NOT want to race with yfz's and trx450r's i dont want to be in an unlimited class or something... i would like to be able to race and not have to worry about dumping thousands of dollars in repairs and stuff.. i would like to get something set up right once and keep it to ride and race. i am leaning towards a 400EX cuz from what i have heard they are bombproof and will haul *** through the woods. anyways please tell me what you think and what class i should try racing in. what classes are all available? what are my options? i am 18yrs old... i weigh about 125lb... and i am abour 5'8" tall. so i dont think a small bike will be a problem for me with my weight and height. in fact, i think it could be an advantage lol. anyways tell me what ya'll are thinking. Lata!

One of the 450's wouldn't have to be in the open class for one, and second you would save thousands of dollars with a 450. They can be competitive box stock, unlike the other quads where you would have to spend thousands to bring them up to the same level. Something to think about.

what kind of class would the 450's be in? i am sure there are more than class for them... but do they have a "stock" class for the 450s? or do they race them slightly modded? i am only 18 so i dont want to get too extreme here in terms of money wrapped up in this.. but i would love to race... i think i could do it.. the endurance would be my kind of racing i think. thanks for the info man... i had considered the 450 before.. but i figured that class would be out of my league... but maybe not... just as much info as you guys can give me it would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys...
