warrior and raptor 350 are 2 different machines, the rappy got some upgrades and went on a diet, so its more juicy then a warrior. Both the 400ex and rappy are great machines, both have proven reliable motors, the rappy having a 2 valve, and 400ex having 4. Stock for stock the 400ex has a better front suspenion, thats the only weak point i have found with mine, soon to be addressed. the extra 50cc's in the 400 will make it pull harder but the rappy is very close, and a few simple mods really wake it up. People are always saying that the rappy 350 is crap but i doubt any of them have actually ridden one, and judge their opnion with experience with a warrior, i suggest you hop on a rappy just to see that yamaha did a good job of working their best selling quad into something better then its replacing, not just new plastics. Throtle response is improved with the new carb and intake, the exhaust is better, the cam bearing is changed, gearing, weight, ergonomics, etc. Hp is improved from 18 in the warrior to 22 in the rappy, and the ex has 25 if im not mistaken, so the hp advantage isn't huge anymore. Both machines are good, i just like the feel of the rappy better.

guys. Warriors and Raptor 350's are bearly differnt... they changed the stock exhaust slightly, a different carb, and new plastics and tires. And, in dirtwheels, the Raptor 350 and 300ex were pretty much equal in races, and they said the 400ex blew them away. The 400ex is a MUCH better machine. By far, and a Book load of aftermarket support.
