my 2000 yamaha warrior is suped up for the trails but i love mx should i investin making fully mx or buying aa new quad and investing in that?

 

new quad, warriors arent meant for mx. try maybe a z, dvx, or kfx 400. a 400ex or the new 450's

 

you can mx with a warrior, HSD makes a LT front end that will let you use 18 inch shocks.

 

I rode a Warrior for years, so I speak from experience. For MX, it is a very poor choice. There are so many far better machines available.

 

I hate to say this, but I agree with getting another quad. Now, you do have the choice. You've already got money into the Warrior, with several of the mods done. So, getting another (bigger) quad and modding it will probably put you out more than modding the Warrior more. However, I have a Z now and it's a big difference over a stock Warrior. Yours is not stock, so look into both routes, see what your expenses will be, then decide.

 

just try taking it to the track, and play around on it, see how it works out,

 

thats something you dont see every day.. is a warrior at the race track.
