sprocket

Default sprocket

Is there a big increase low end if I put a 12 tooth front sprocket on.

It will gain you extra low end bu you will lose top end. If you mostly ride trails I say go for it. The cost is minimal if you dont like it.

doesnt the bolt holding on the sprocket turn? How do u unlosen it without the bolt turning on u

my tool of choice is an impact wrench, other wise you need to put it in gear/ apply parking brake (if you still have the chain on) impacting a rachet with a hammer might do the trick. you'll have to flatten the keeper first. when u flaten the washer thing do u bend it on the new sprocket? and doent it weaken it

yea, you flatten it on the nut again when you put it back on. you can bend it in a different spot if you think its going to break the washer.

yea the impact wrench does a good job of taking them out, if this is the first time changing the sproket the washers should still be in good shape. Remember not to flatten them to much because they might be hard to bend back in spot. They are there to help it from comign loose during those real ruff rides :~|
