mdaddy......I'm not disagreeing with you there.......pipe for pipe......the yfz is still faster......I admitted that already. But......what I am saying is that the further into the mods you get, the pred will eventually catch up to the yfz and then eventually beat them......trust me.......I've seen it first hand.....mine will beat some mildly modded yfz's

I am actually 12.5:1......but yeah I have to run a mixed ratio.....of probably no less than 110 race gas mixed with 92/93 premium.......50/50......I was just running strait 110 race gas.....but won't be doing that for long........

You can get lower compressions to allow you to just run premium......and you'll be able to get the new piston, and get that junk stocker out of there!!!!!

yeah........you'd be fine with that.....and premium......and you'd still get the aftermarket piston, which is much more reliable

seems like id get alot of water on it, were it is... remember, i go through water a good deal. by the way, i was looking at nicks 558 bore kit, with the sleaves and everything. how hard is it to nock the current piston sleeve out and stick the new one in? should i let my dealer do it if i got it?

EDIT:

i was going through nicks photos, and i saw this http://images.50below.com/facility/n.../drake%202.JPG and holy crap thats hot. i made up my mind that im going to keep my cracked black plastics, and buy blue ones when i get the chance and have my lights window tinted so there black.... whoaaa

Yeah......depends on how much water you go though.......your stock air box isn't that water proof either.........but the filter is a long ways up there......and an outerware will protect some water......remember, the twin air filter is covered in oil......so it won't suck in too much water.....

As for the bb kit.........I would just get the basic mods for now.......and see if you still need more power........I'd get a good exhaust system(either doug's pipe, or and hmf......both with a rath headpipe)........I'd go with the twin air clamp on......and carb mods.......and then possibly a high comp piston......and port and flow job.......which is what I've got.........that is putting you about 12hp above stock........

Any major engine work I was going to do........I'd let Doug do........less problems that way.......or make sure you have a manual, a buddy.......and lots of time. Ask lots of questions if a problem arises.....and don't start it unless you know its right........

yeah.......I think that might be tyler drakes quad(he's on predowners)
