there not really that heavy, the Raptor 660 is 6 pounds heavier when measured for Curb Wheight (all fluids and gas) and the pred will jump anything you through at it, but it is getting to the point of being heavy, a YFZ would be better suited for jumping, as its a MX quad, the Predator is a XC quad. with the 500 motor and the TLD gearbox stock for stock the pred can 5 out of 10 times beat the Raptor 660 in a drag, and is fairly close to a YFZ. it wont take a YFZ, but it will hang with it.

once you start tearing into the motor of the pred, it'll turn up as the fastest quad out of the bunch, but of course, thats money not everyone is willing to spend.

but i have a friend with a stock tld pred and i smoke him in a race every time does he really suck that bad at riding or do my minor adjustments make that much of a diffirence?

what year is it? the TLD gearboxes didnt come into the line till 2005

thats why, the Troy Lee's didnt get the close ratio gearbox till 2005, so undoubtebly yes, you would smoke him.
