What is the best performing exhaust with the minimum increase in noise? Son wants to mod the new quad, but we have many neighbors to consider, so need to keep the volume low. Is the exhaust the best place to start, or would other mods provide more performance gains. Cost is a factor, so bang for the buck is important. Considering Yoshi, FMF or White exhaust. Other options welcomed. Will we need to re-jet with these exhausts? If so, what do you recommend? Don't want to sacrifice drivability for small performance gains. All help appreciated.

 

You can get a Sparks Pipe and Header for about 350.00 and yes you will have to rejet. i would get a K&N air filter to go with the pipe. One of my Friends has a KFX400 Same motor you have and he put HotCams in it and it made a world of diffents.

I havent seen anyone running a White Brothers E2 on a Z400. But i had one on my YFZ and it made nice power and it wasn't very loud. The price is around $330 when i bought mine but you could probably look around and find them for $250-$300 now.. Mace
