The DS and rappy are very close in a drag race... When i raced a rappy, no1 would pull way ahead. I found that the rappy would shortly pull ahead off the start. The DS has the strongest mid range and quickly catch up. Then i would bounce off my rev limited and slowly pass the rappy.

Yet another stupid thread... No matter what, the raptor guys are gonna stick to the raptor and vice versa for the DS guys.. I've never raced one but I have raced bikes that are "supposed" to beat me, (YFZ, 450R, Pred) and have beat them all, and most of them have been more modified than my bike.. What matters here is which bike you're more comfortable on, how much money you are willing to put into it and how good of a rider you are.. Period!

I do know from a very personal experience because I brought my DS straight from the dealer and dropped it off the trailer, lined up against a brand new 660 Raptor and Banshee. I took the Raptor by 4-5 bikes and the banshee by 2-3 bikes. In all honesty, the banshee just couldnt get any traction. But we did run em about 1/4 mile. So, take it for what its worth.....this subject has been beat to death. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
