I have a 03 KFX 400 that all of a sudden 4th gear is making a grinding noise but it still works. It was right after I had the clutch replaced by the dealer. I’m wondering if the guys at the Kawasaki dealer could have messed up 4th gear? Is it hard to get to and replace 4th gear? Any help would be great.

If they messed up something w/ the clutch, you would notice problems in all gears. Unless they took the thing and beat the daylights out of it, I doubt its related. You will need to split the cases to repair the transmission.
