When i put the k&n on my 03' i had to rejet it. and then again when i built an exhaust i had to rejet it again. look at your spark plug and make sure its not running lean. if it is then put bigger jets in it.

I just bought a k&n air filter and it says right on the box that you dont need to rejet if your just putting a replacement k&n in it.

I put in a k&n in my 2 stroke and didn't rejet, it runs fine didn't check my plug, I'm gonna put in reeds also and I don't think I'll rejet for that either. Once my exhaust comes then I have to rejet it.

If you just replace the filter - you likely don't need to re-jet it. If you open up the airbox, you will likely need to re-jet.
