They did it in huevos 3. It was pretty sick. They did for about 100 yards

 

Ive done it over some fairly deep washed out roads for about 50 feet or so....had the big old ds pinned in 4th.

you need high hp to do it. I have seen 60+ hp banshees doing it

 

it doesn't take much anything to do it. I've done it lots. You just need a fairly long and flat approach. And keed all your weight over the back tires. Start at something samll like 30ft, hit it wide open and keep your bars straight. My buddies and I do this all the time in the summer. We skip between sandbars on the river.

 

I have seen it done at Little Sahara in Ok. Sit back on the seat and enjoy the ride. It was 450's and 400ex etc doing the skimming. I believe there are some pic of it being done at www.Waynoka.com

Watched alot of guys hydroplain over water and get an ambulance ride out of it
