If it's your video, what's to say the race wasn't fixed.Maybe you had the outy slow down to where it looked like you really beat it?LOL!

Man,the banshee I had would smoke your's if it is stock.
There's a ton of guys out there that could smoke me.
I don't like loosing either, but it's a fact of life that it will happen to all of us sooner or later.
Don't let it ruin having a good day of racing when it happens to you.
Whether it's from an outy or whatever.I've beat bikes I thought I couldn't and have been smoked by bikes I thought didn't have a chance. It happens.

Heres a mildly modded kfx beating a modfied banshee, if the kfx700 can do it, a stock banshee doesnt stand a chance agisnt the big bad 800.

I know exactly what you mean.Lack of traction will cause a banshee get when it wouldn't if it hooked up.Most riding is done off road though. So in normal riding conditions, you better have some good tires for the area you're at.That said though the v-force is a good quad along with many others. There is plenty of other quads that will beat a stock banshee. There are some very fast 450's out there.Say at a 300 foot dirt track,These outy's,v-force,etc... will probably hook up better than a banshee and get ya off the line. That's doesn't leave ya alot of time to catch them and these new utility quads are very strong.

traction is a MAJOR key. its if your running dirt tires and your off highway the outty has the advantage....visco lok. there are guys around here like you, "lets race!" then they lose in the dirt/sand....then its " lets go race on the highway!" they are off road vehicles.....as far as im concerned 300ft is a drag race. race ya a renegade.....that is the 800 sport bike. then you can brag. if you want to actually race sport bike for sport bike i have one of those too.....our outtys arnt race bikes.

That is a good point. The banshee is a sport bike and the outy isn't.Even if they were even in a race, that would say alot for how far utility quads have come. Now if that utility quad beat the sport bike................?

If your talking a 300 foot race an outty would beat a stock banshee, troque is what wins short drag and the banshees motor is not known for its torque and combine that with the hookup of 4wd and a cvt, the banshee doesnt stand a chance, i have also heard that the outlander can beat a stock raptor 700 in a drag and if thats the case a stock banshee wouldnt be too tough, RDZ brought up a good point, that these are off road vehicles and if it doesnt hook up in dirt, sand, etc. It doesnt win. i wont argue that the banshee has limitless potential for power, but in "real life" a stock 800 will beat a stock banshee.

Is anyone else unimpressed by the fact that a brand new high-tech 4 stroke that costs nearly 9k dollars US can beat a sport quad that was released in the late 80's with less than half the displacement and costs 2/3 the price? The only impressive part is the power of the 800 overcoming the weight to make it a race.

I'd be posting about beating 450's or some of the big bore sport quads, if the 800 can beat them. I honestly haven't looked into it to know if they do or not.
