meh, that crap isn't a sport quad. I don't care what the manufacturer sells it as, renegades, scramblers, and any of the other 4 wheel drive "sport" quads on the market are just a utility wearing sporty plastics. Until someone actually designs a 4x4 sport quad from the ground up, and makes it lightweight (less than 475 lbs at least) with a manual clutch tranny, as far as i'm concerned there is no such thing as a 4x4 sport quad.

i think its possible, a cross between a raptor and a grizzly, it would cost a lot, but it would haul *** and go deep in mud

Two friends that I have ridden in rather deep snow with:
1) honda 450 R with blackwaters
2) warrior with mudlite sp
Both sport quads did fine, they went everywhere the utes did that day. Granted they may have taken paths around the mud but they climbed some rather snowy/icy hills with them tires.
I think its the tire more then quad if you ask me...

Sport/ute it is.
To give them some credit though, these can-am 800s are monsters as far as power goes. I rode an outty a few weeks ago and was surprised as all hell when the front end came up on me.
I'm still boggled though why everyone makes a big fuss about big bore utes though, they're just a death trap with that much power and no way to control it. I think they're a big part of why there have been so many atv-related deaths in the news lately, people hop on these things and try to use all that power and get themselves all f'ed up.
