rack for a 250ex

Default rack for a 250ex

me and my friends go camping alot for a couple of days in a row and we drag out alot of food and it would be easier with a rack
Can anyone tell me if this is a good one? 250ex rack
And how do you think it would be attachted?

The rack for a 250EX, is called a Recon!

There is a difference between the recon and the 250ex

When I look at that picture in your link I can't tell how many mounting points there is. The stock rack on a recon has 3 mounting points on each side of the upper frame. My guess is that the are using the four mounting points that are used by the rear grab bar on the 250EX. This will not be as strong as the recons rear rack but I think it will serve your purpose if it is not loaded down to extreme.

The 250EX is based on the Recon. There are some notable differences, like the EX has better suspension, different gearing, it's a little wider, disk brakes up front, and it's a hefty 50 pounds lighter!
