Default oiling K&N's

Just wondering what type/brand of oil you use for them. I decided to get the zilla out but I have been with dirtbikes for the last 2 yrs and they are all foam filters. I assume this is a diff sort of oil.

go to the dealership and get the k&n recharger kit, its designed specifically for a k&n filter, it works the best and doesnt take long at all to clean and apply. I bought that to clean my filter today and it cost like $15.

Yea, definitely stick with the K&N recharge kit. K&N recommends you use only their solvents and oils to prevent damage to the filter element. If the filter element is damaged, your engine could also become damaged.

all that goes into it is prepping the filter with the cleaner, let it soak in, then continue to wash it out with tap water from the inside out (just rinse) let it dry till its dry, apply the oil and your done. its very easy to do, its just the drying that takes longest.
