Best sport quads for trails.

I would like to know this too, I am an experienced motorcycle ride and have ridden atv's a few times on some trail, a z400 and a honda 450r that is. I am about to buy a 400 of 450. I would like it to have reverse so i guess that rules out alot of 450s though, and i want to keep up with my buddies 450r, What do you guys recommend?

It sounds like you're describing a Raptor 700, it has fuel injection, reverse, and it can sure keep up with the 450s, same price as them too! Well, if you live in Canada. But if you really want to stay in that 400-450 range, the Kawasaki KFX 450 has the fuel injection and reverse as well, and it has alot of jam too. I think its the nicest sport quad I've ridden (besides the seat), its also the funnest, try it, you'll see why if there was any 4 stroke I would pay good money for, it'd be the KFX.

I would definately have to 2nd that vote for the Polaris Scrambler. Mine has been great for trail-riding. I like leaving my buddy behind in a wake of mud, however; his DS650 does not have 4x4 capabilities

I'll 3RD that,
All around great quad in the trails! you have to actually ride one to believe it , and if you want to ride trails in the snow the 4wd will leave even that 700 rappy spinnin while yer grin'n
