4x4terror,

I have ridden both and I would get the Raptor 700. The IRS Outlaw is nice for clearance but in general you will be much happier wiht the Raptor 700. It is a better overall ride and you won't get as tired riding it as you will on the Outlaw.

Won't get as tired riding the Raptor as the Outlaw? In my family we have 2 Outlaws and 2 Raptors and where we ride the Raptors are a hell of a lot more work. I don't know what your terrain is like, but we go up and down a lot of slick hills that have been rutted out by all the wheelers and dirtbikes. The IRS gets much better traction up these hills to keep from sliding into ruts, and getting hung up. Plus the ride is much better on the IRS as you don't get thrown around as much and you don't have to hit every mudhole quite as hard so you don't get as sore. For power they are quite comparable.

Around the easier stuff/gravel roads/fields/track I'll almost always take one of the Raptors, just like the feel of it better for that kind of riding I guess. Feels more aggressive I think.

Now that is funny right there. I had a 06 Raptor and now have a Outlaw, and the ride between the two isn't even close. There isn't a solid axle quad out there that rides as nice as the Outlaws. Plus I can ride all day and not even be close as wiped out as my SRA buddies.
