its alright i see youve realized your wrong and are saying incompetent things but im man enough to take it in two weeks im making a video of me riding my raptor and i would like you to watch it to show you im not an idiot and maybe to make you think more highly of this magnificient machine . . . . .it was a nice debate tata for now

Hey bro, lighten up, OK? You are young and love your machine. OK, we get it! I would advise you not to run your mouth to much if you ever come across a Mojave, stock or otherwise, in good working order. The Kawie has a killer motor, and it is much more technologically advanced than the 250 Raptor is, even now 20 years later. Add to that it has a much larger stock carb, and you have a motor with plenty of snot. Wish I had the mag, but I think ATV action just did a shoot out between the 250 and a privately owned Blaster, the Blaster was faster. Stock vs stock, if you ever race a Mojave, you had better hope there are a lot of tight corners or some really rough terrain or else I think you will get taught a little respect. Also, the ATV Rider quad has over 6K in performance parts and makes 26 vs 16 stock hp. Suspension and more importantly, RIDER SKILL had a lot more to do with that quad running down 450's on an mx track than HP. For what it matters, I have seen modified Honda 250X's have similar results. The Mojave has more motor than the 250X stock. My suggestion, go enjoy your quad. Get some seat time in and maybe try to race a few of older 250 class quads. I sure hope we have great offerings like the Raptor 250 when my son gets old enough to be in that class machine!!

ok thats cool but just a minor statement then im through i have raced a mojave and it was stock and ran great either the driver sucks or it had some problems cause in a drag i blew it out of the water but im not underestimating the mojave at all im just sayin dont judge a raptor before you read the reviews and have rode one cause i no my stuff!!!

I use to own a mojave,it had a big gun pipe jet kit an a kn airfilter on it.I thought it was a great trail quad an It handled good on a mx course an it had stock shocks chassis on it.No it wouldnt kill a 450 an I never had a problem w bum reverse gear strip outs or motors wearing out quickly.I had it roughly 4 almost 5 years an rode it hard but never had a problem.I used synthetic oil in it an adjusted the chain an valves on dealer recommended intervals,after 1st time it held its clearance suprisingly! cleaned the filter along w changed the plug here an there.I sold it to some 1 in Maryland for his wife an hopefully they've had good luck w it.It never smoked or overheated the only thing I didnt like was it flamed out an was finicky to start sometimes.There use to be a man Lurch who motocrossed it.I would just enjoy your raptor or what ever bike you have an not compare it to others.Every 1 buys quads for different reasons an you bought yours cause you liked it.
I certainly would of loved to have put a klr box in it an a Fst 330 kit see what it would of done but alas It was not ment to be I dont own the machine anymore.Well happy roosting.
