All 3 bikes can be modded to a T!
I would not suggest riding double on any of them as they are deff not designed for that kinda weight!</end quote></div>
I dont mean doubles all the time, just like say a girl wants quick lil ride for a little bit. I wouldnt be climbing 30 degree hills with someone on back.. haha</end quote></div>
Ya but it those quick little jonts when most people get injured !

Skip the 300. You will be much happier in the long run with a 400, more so when you start to jump. The Z400 and its' sisters were a better overall machine vs the 400EX when it was first introduced, and Suzuki has refined it year to year. Honda has done precious little in that same time frame other than new look plastics. I would go for the Z unless you find a real clean used Honda for cheap.

Would you guys recommend buying one brand new right off the showroom floor? I know you can find good used deals especially on 300's, but for the 400ex or z would it be worth purchasing one new? I would just hate to get a used one and a month or so later something effs up on it. Lets face it.. its a quad.. people ride the **** out of them.

i reccomend you get one new, because like you said people dog the s**t out of their stuff, you dont want to replace parts. the 400ex is a lil bit cheaper then the z400 i belive, but suzuki has always been a lil more pricey then honda. if you do go with a used quad and the quad you want is the 400ex, then try to find a model after 04, because they didnt put a reverse on them til 05.

I would get a used one for sure, it's not hard to replace parts that go bad. Plus you can get a lot of go fast parts to replace old ones and still be in it a lot less money. I bought a used 03' Z400 earlier this year and it ran like a champ and still does. They are reliable quads for sure. Make sure you find a clean one and you'll be good. Again, get the Z, best of these 3!

Alright dudes, thanks for all the input.. Im glad I picked a good forum to join. Also my buddy just got a raptor 350. I rode it today and it felt pretty good. The size of the quad is just about right, but I didnt like how the front end wants to lift up so easily and it just felt top heavy when turning. Size wise I wouldnt want anything bigger. Anybody know how much smaller the 300 is compared to the raptor 350?.. or the 400z and ex for that matter?
