Default Tough Decision.. help me out please

First off Im 5'11 180 lbs. Im getting back into quads from years ago when I was alot younger and smaller. Im trying to decide whether to purchase a 300ex, 400ex or z400. Im mostly gonna be riding some trails, hitting some jumps(nothing crazy) and hittin alot of open area too. Whatever good deal I find on a 400 Im probaly going to get, but would a 300ex be too small? Im worried after a while I'll want something more but I dont want a 400 to be too big and uncomfortable for tight trails and such. Sorry for the ramble but Im just baffled a little bit. thanks

300ex is great for small tight trails. 400ex is the trail king as far as I'm concerned . With the exception of a few tight spots that it's lil' brother will go that it can't there is not much the EX can't handle.
The z400 is good for the open stuff. Both of the EX's will be a little lower geared and better suited for the more technical trail obstacles.

I'll second the 400EX but if you find a good deal on a Z don't pass it up!

I hear you can make them 300exs and 400's for that matter alot quicker than they come stock. Isnt there alot of aftermarket options for the hondas so you could always add more to them?

there is plenty of aftermarket support for the Honda's. A passenger will prob be tight on a 300ex as well as dangerous.

All 3 bikes can be modded to a T!

I would not suggest riding double on any of them as they are deff not designed for that kinda weight!

300 will be to small! I like the 400EX for tight trails, and the Z400 for faster more open trails, and wide open country. Can't go wrong with either of these!!!
