Or if you must go new get a Z400. My buddy also recently picked up a 2008 Outlaw from a local dealer for 5500 out the door. Check out your local dealer for deals!

You can pick up an 07' DS650X for around $4000 brand new from the dealer. Now not all dealers have them anymore but they are out there and nothing in that price range will touch a DS.

 

i just picked up an 07 honda 450 for 3600 from the dealer. they are hurtin so they will make a deal. they had left over 07 z400's goin for 4500 off the floor. my 450 is a lot faster then then my old kfx 400!

Holy Crap! That's a smokin deal on a Sweet machine!

 

Damn fine quad the DS, yeah, 4 stroke for the money hard to beat the DS. I've been seeing dealers blow out left over KFX700s pretty cheap as well.

 

hey if your a bigger guy 180-250lbs, get a DS650. There the most powerful, fast, and comfortable ATV ever. I eat up any bike that lines up with me and I do it with one hand sittin back.
