Hey, does a Warrior have a regular swingarm like a 300EX, 250R, ect.? It says in dirt wheels that a Warrior has a varible linkage swingarm. What does this mean?

Well im not to sure i can fully answer this
But i know that the warrior swing arm is a 2 **** fork with an attatched claw up the middle. that is what the shock is attatched to. im not sure if this helps you or not.
But really all i can add to this is imagine the swing arm as an oval and a arm attached in side the oval at the rear of the swing arm (via piviot shaft) and the shock is attatched to this arm.
youll have to take a look at the rear end of a warrior to really understand it

Its a regular swingarm. Its just got a different design. Don't get to hung up about this, its just a name. I believe the swingarm is designed different because of the rear suspension, which actually is mounted below the swingarm? <IMG SRC="http://forums.atving.com/ubb/redface.gif">

The Warrior has a linkage like most dirt bikes. What this does is changes the angle of the shock as the swingarm goes up and down. In theory it would greatly improve the suspension, but there are other factors such as linkage ratios that could mess the suspension up. The Warrior's rear suspension is very good compared to some other stock quads. I'm not sure if the linkage would affect aftermarket shocks or not.
