Roostking, Her forwoman 400 is still brand new, i think it may have 200 mi. on it. I do believe im gonna claim it for my own then I'll have a spare for when and if mine ever tears up. I think that mine only has about 1800 miles on it but it is very "ruff" miles. when i sold the warrior, i bought hers so she could come along and enjoy the fun that we have. A few weeks later she decides to go back to school, and now it just sits in the shed (occasionally i ride it). missing a sport quad, i was running mine like one. now that i have another sport ride i guess im gonna haveta give the ole girl a break.

Whether or not they put the 4 stroke in, the September Dirt Wheels said that they will be bumping the Banshee up to 400cc for the 2001 model year. Maybe they'll address a few other things as well. As it is, the boost will no doubt require a revision to carbs and hopefully the pipes too. I wouldn't be surprised if hp went into the mid 40's, which would more than compete with the other machines just coming into the market. And that's bone stoke!! Ever seen what can happen to a built 400cc 2-stroke twin??? I just hope the parts can be retrofit and if so, I hope they're not too expensive. I wonder if they'll need a cylinder change??? Or if it's just bore/stroke changes. Anyway, we'll all find out, won't we?

As for the 2-stroke Honda anything, don't look for that to happen as Honda themselves have said they will not be making another 2 Stroke quad due to California EPA regulations. They may *think* about it if they get their new "Clean" 2-stroke working, but last I heard they were still working out lots of problems....

As for the 400cc Banshee in Dirtwheels, it was under the "Juicy Banshee Rumors" section... nuff said.

As for the YZ426F Warrior, Yamaha better do a 100% complete redesign if they want to play in Hondaland, you could stick a 150hp Nitromethane burning, supercharged YZ650F engine in the current chassis, and it still wouldn't be competitive. Just sticking a fast motor in a chassis doesn't = a fast, good handling bike.

If they do get their **** together though, it can do nothing but good things for us, competition in the industry has proven that we all win.
