Also think about the out dated two valve motor that the warrior has to the four valves of the 300ex....

 

I own a 99 warrior and my friend has a 96 warrior. we couldn't be happier with our machines. we have put jet kits and aftermarket pipes on them. (He put a cobra and I put a supertrapp.) I haven't seen a 300 ex I couldn't smoke. But I still have enough low-end to crawl over things and climb the hills. And as for comfort, It is a great ride. I have never owned a 300 ex, but i urge you to give the warrior some serious consideration.

 

I would choose the 300EX because of its smooth shifting, suspension, and handling. Take them both for a spin and see which one you like. I wouldn't give up suspension, handeling, and shifting for an 50cc's.
