Does anybody know the gas mileage for the various sport and or high performance quads. Stock please!

Me on my Banshee with my friend on his 400ex.
Left early in the morning Rode all day into the evening. Had a blast!
Untill! I needed to be towed do to gas shortage on the Banshee! Yes, I know I wasn't thinking. And I paid the price of embarassment being towed back by the 400ex. We Traveled about 4 or so miles with him towing, and of course he ran out as well..
LONG WALK HOME! And yes I used the reserve tanks as well!!

 

I'm not sure there is a good way to come up with gas milege on a quad...You have to assume a wide variation in speed when riding. The banshee will for sure suck more gas than the 400ex...It has twin cylinders...2 carbs..and requires alot of throttle to keep it going along..Your doing just fine to get a whole day out of one tank of gas...My banshee is nowhere near being stock..but it does only last about 3-4 hrs when ridden at a good clip...alot less than that if your running wide open...
If long trips and gas are a concern...I would recommend getting an aftermarket tank. There is a 5 gallon tank available out there for cross country...I think it is made by IMS
but it requires plastic removal and cutting.

 

Thanks for the response, If I run hard I get about 3-4 hrs as well. If im at a relaxed pace it lasts about 6. I was just checkin.
