400EX or DS650?

I'm thinking of buying a quad. I'm leaning for the 400ex, but algo considering the ds650.
i ride mostly x-country, or go for a ride by a dry riverbed. My buddies ride mostly warriors.
I'm not much into the kind of driving as from a banshee, it's way too unpredictible for me. i'm more into a reliable yet powerful enugh quad not to envy other riders.
I haven't ridden anything other than warriors, banshees and 250R's
Raptor is out of the question, 'cus i have to pay more than 55% in taxes in order to inport it to Mexico.
From what i read all over the net, the 400EX is a great choice, but i'm afraid to fall short. I'm 5.8 230 lb.

if you are worried about your weight, you can just go with better shocks on the 400ex. it is nicer all around than a warrior and cheaper than a ds. with your height it may fit you better too.
they are really reliable and the power is very easy to use. there are plenty of companies that offer hop up's if you need more power. i haven't ridden a ds so i can't comment on them. i think you would be happiest with the ex, on the plus side it's also cheaper. hope i helped
