Default installed my hmf system tonight

I installed my hmf exhaust system on my 250ex tonight and then fired it up, its way louder than the stock system, but It does have a deeper tone than the stock system which I like. so I will see how it runs after I get the jet kit installed. can i install the jet kit with the carb still on the engine or will I have to take the carb off the engine to do the install? thanks

Easier if you take it off.....then hang on! LOL! Let us know how it runs when you get it all dialed ....

I'm not familiar with the 250ex. Try a new post in the honda section and title it "jetting a 250ex". Reconranger would likely know.....good luck!

Gotta love new exhausts!

I just took the baffle out of my LTR450.... took off the airbox lid... and popped on a Yoshimura Cherry Bomb... this adds a total of 7hp!

I LOVE the sound of the uncorcked exhaust, so deep and throaty... lol

got my jet kit installed tonight. I followed the instructions like it said but it didn't say anything about tuning. it just said to turn the mixture screw until it bottomed out and then turn it out 2-2.5 turns is that right or do I still have to tune it some. it runs fine and seems to have more power. should I tune it some or just see how it runs for a while?
