Default need some advice please

so I have been looking around for a new sport quad, and I went today and looked around to find out how much the payments on some of the bigger sport quads would be. so now I have a decision to make and I was hoping thta you guys could help me out a little. so kind of tell me which one of these sport quads that I should maybe get. I like to ride it on the trail and they are kind of tight. and then I also like to ride it to work in that summer. and I also have a place near by where I like to ride in the sand sometimes. so hear are the two atv's that I'm deciding on. I can either get the honda 700xx or I could go with the suzuki ltz 400 both are the efi versions. so can you guys help me out and let me know which sport atv would best suit all my needs? thanks in advance. p.s. I also like to climb up some of the hills that are near by also.

Go with the Honda, it has everything you need for whatever you throw at it.

The 700XX is a very different machine from the Z400!!! The XX will be at its best on rocky/rutted trails (where you should probably be on a ute anyway), but the price you pay for a comfortable ride now and then is that it is a huge heavy pig!

The Z is an excellent all around machine, and one of the primo trail quads (along with the 400EX and Raptor 700)! Great handling, great suspension, and descent power. The new model with EFI has gotten a little heavy compared to the older ones, but you can't go wrong with a Z!!!

well after doing some numbers crunching. I don't think that i will be able to afford and new quad right now. my local dealer wants 6400 for a new z400 which would make the payment about 150 a month. and with all the other bills and hobbies I have. I just don't see a new quad happening right now. so I guess I will have to keep my slow 250ex turd a while longer. guess I should have bought a bigger quad in the first place. cause now I don't see being able to afford another one any time soon.

Used or '08 overstock could save you some money. I've regularly seen brand new '08 700xx's for less than $6000, and '08 z400's for less than $4000.

If you are comfortable doing your own wrenching, you could look for a used Z400. '03 models go for around $2000 and I've seen some in pretty good shape.

if you lean towards a z400 get a used 05 or newer the 05 and ups came with ressie shocks and makes the suspension much better.
