My friend was thinking of getting a sport quad and selling his utilty quad, the ones he liked where the 300ex or warrior then in a few years going to a 400ex like I did. what are some ups and downs of the 300ex and warrior. I used to own a warrior and loved it but I wanted more power so i went to a 400ex. I think he would be better with a warrior because he is 5'10 165 pounds and still growing.

If your friend is going to be jumping getting a Warrior shouldn't be first choice, It's to heavy. my friend has one and didn't like it so he got a 400ex.

Yeah he would be doing some jumping and trail riding. I think he will just get the 400ex because he likes mine but he sure does like the warrior.

35 previous rides. I owned them both at one time. The 300 has much better suspension. Power is about the same. You sit lower on a Warrior. I'd get the 300ex unless reverse is needed! Dam I can't even remeber if the 300ex had reverse!

I'd get the 400EX now and wouldn't consider the other two. The 400EX isn't any harder to ride than the 300EX. It is both impressive and easy to ride.

I don't think ANY 4 stroke is diffucult to ride. At least not from the factory. I agree though, the 400EX is definatly the choice over the 300EX. Wether to get the Warrior or the 400EX is more personal preference. Looks, features, Merits, etc.

I agree with slinger. At his height and weight, he's already big enough for the 400 and it's a bike he can grow into.
