An 08 LTR-450 I recently picked up in pieces runs like an absolute beast now that i got it fixed up. Only issue is starting. It has a difficult time turning over unless its hooked up to a booster or roll started. Before yall tell me, I know i need to do the valves, the exhaust clearance is perfect but the intake is below spec even with the smallest available shims, making it hard to turn over. Im just curious to what mods are out there that will give more power to the start? Ive looked at aftermarket batteries that are oem size but claim to have rediculous cca, but thats about it. And yes im being lazy and avoiding the important issue, im asking for creativity here😂😂😂
