choices, choices

It's all your choice, but here is how I feel.
400EX - Good all-around bike. Cheaper than the Raptor and the DS, but it's lack of reverse can be a pain in the behind if you do alot of woods riding.
DS - Decent bike. I personally think it's ugly and too heavy. Everyone I see has the front fenders either removed or duct-taped on.
Raptor - Good bike. Plenty of ***** stock. More expensive than the 400EX, but you get what you pay for.
2001 Yamaha Raptor (stock)
1988 Yamaha Warrior (too many mods to list)

id say either a 400ex or a raptor. the ds is the biggest piece of $hit iv ever seen. if you want something that big go buy a rubicon or sportsman or something! if i had the choise id get the 400ex cause when you get them modded up(which doesn't sound like you got a money problem since you can choose from which ever one you want) they are the second nicest quads, witch having the 250r the nicest. i think the nac's graphics are sweet on a ex. Get the honda, you won't be dissatisfied with that.

<< Oh, just a note on the DS650. Team Alba racing has a lot of ads in Dirtwheels about if you buy a DS650 from them, you get all these aftermarket goodies on it like a really nice graphics kit, seat cover, shocks, (I want to say A-arms, but I can't remember) a pipe, etc, etc. All for the MSRP. How cool, huh? Why can't they do that for the Honda's?

the reason honda doesnt do that is becuase there quad is good enough that they can sell them stock hehe. its cool how they sell pre moded quads though.

I'm surprized no one has mentioned the scrambler 400 2x4 or sport 400 2x4, For as much as a raptor you can have a modified scrambler/sport from HPD that can push out 75 horsepower in under 2 seconds!!! With NOS' nitrus oxide kit you can turn that 75 horsepower into 100+!!!
The rider of the banshee, raptor, or DS won't even have time to release the clutch and you'll be spinning the tires at mach 10!!!
LONG LIVE POLARIS!!!
