I have a 400, and my hubby has a Raptor. Both are great bikes. It would depend on what you wanted to do with it. Both are great track and trail riders, and are fun in the dunes. The 400 is an awesome, light, nimble handler, and has an excellent reputation, and very dependable. The Raptor is heavier, has more power, and sits a little higher in the saddle (so to speak), and definately gets looks as you trailer it to your riding spot! There are posts that trash the Raptor due to some factory problems that were present earlier, but I can say that my husband has had no problems with his so far. I ride it every once in a while, and it's nice and cushy, but I prefer to ride my 400. I can move my bike around in the air much easier, and it's a flier! The DS I wouldn't get unless you do lots of duning or desert racing. Very long and the heaviest sport quad there is. However, for duning I hear it's awesome!

I would have to say go for the DS650 they have good power fun ride and look awesome. The Raptors are prone to having clutch problems and the 400EX is air cooled and i have never liked those plus there small and only top out at 60! But the DS650 has a bulletproof engine and the ultimate stock suspension setup.

Oh, just a note on the DS650. Team Alba racing has a lot of ads in Dirtwheels about if you buy a DS650 from them, you get all these aftermarket goodies on it like a really nice graphics kit, seat cover, shocks, (I want to say A-arms, but I can't remember) a pipe, etc, etc. All for the MSRP. How cool, huh? Why can't they do that for the Honda's?
