The one your talking about is Gas Gas of North America (www.ggna.com) and yes they are losing their rights to import Gas Gas products. The warsehouse in Flordia is the one that is importing the machines now. The number I gave you (1-877-9GASGAS) is the one Daryl at Eurodirt gave me and I call it and talk to Juan. Juan gave me the HP ratings, the release date, and the prices. The only I forget to ask him was if they were still planning on making a xc and mx version of the 2 quads.
The number your thinking of tha GGNA is 1-877-4GASGAS.
One other thing incase nobody know these, but I also read that they are planning on make a 80cc mini and a 250 (I don't know if they are going to be 2-stroke or 4-stroke).
Hope this helps.

lt250r91, you race harescrambles in D-11, right? If so, I think I've met you a couple of times. I was racing the only Raptor at the Honda Hills St. Patty's Day race. We BS'd a little checking out the Cannondale Speed before the race if you are who I think you are. As far as the phone numbers go, you are right. I wasn't paying attention to the difference between the 4 and 9

Yep I'm old blue. I race the blue suzuki. I recently bought a cannondale speed myself and am racing it at the nationals. It's way better than the suzuki. Have you been going to many of the d-11 races? I raced last weekend at 5 brothers and got my first win. I was even racing the suzuki. I've been following and talking to Gas Gas for about a year now and can't wait to see the release of these new machines. It's definitly what the sport needs. Jared Huffman said something to me at the last national about Gas Gas was talking to him. Don't know any detials on Gas Gas sponsoring racer bad it does look good. Hopefully they'll do one up and cannondale in this department too.

I haven't raced since the HH race. I decided the Raptor wasn't up to it, at least not on my budget. It really needs some work and cash to keep up with the hot 400EXs and Cannondales. Its just a little too heavy (especially top heavy). Right now I'm looking to sell it and get a Honda 250R. I'm actually looking to make a trade right now for a clean 86 and some cash. Should know this weekend if it will go through. I will be going to the Scarecrow GNCC to spectate for sure. You going to be racing there?

Yep, I'll be there in the stock 4-stroke class (morning race). If you are looking for a 250r you might want to talk to Charlie Dodson (the big guy that races d-11). He's taking about buying a cannondale. If your in no hurry to buy a 250r I would wait for one of the Gas Gas quads. They have had over 2 years testing these thing, plus 7k for a brand new race ready quad. You can beat that. You'll hvae at least 10k to 15k in a 250r to match this new quad. Goodluck, Hope to see you at that national then (racing instead of watching).

if this is true, canondale and others may have to wake up with thier prices...
a gas gas for $7-8K that has all the gear and competes with the moto440 and super modded 400's & 250r's out of the box?
the gas gas sounds be too good to be true.... i'll believe it when i see it here in the US.
although... we all know that it doesn't cost cannondale anywhere near that additional 5-6K thay are charging to build the moto over the speed(wider stance, ZPS shocks, dfferent fuel mapping, beadlocks and nerfs).... it'd cost us a little more than that to fully mod a 250r, 400ex, raptor, DS, or Z400 to about the same point... but not a lot more. they saved money in the fact they are not putting on the stock parts (that we'd have to swap out to build the other machines).... which means they aren't cutting that much of a deal on a package.

I agree 100%. Hopefully if and when these quads come out cannondale and the rest will realize that too. The people I've talked to about the prices of the new Gas Gas quad said the cost of the moto and blaze were crazy and that theere was noway they would sell theirs for that. Plus I've heard that Gas Gas is pretty good with backing their dirt bike races and hopefully will do the same for the quads. The other thing I was told is that the quad is ready and they have start production on them. The reason for the 2-3 months is due to importing and they also have a lawsuit with a soon to be former importer. Hopefully things work out quickly. If I hear any new info I'll post it ASAP.

New info on the gas gas quads. The 300 2-stroke is schedule to release at the end of August and the 400 4-stroke will be out at the end of Sept/Nov. time frame. This is the info I got from Daryl at Eurodirt. The website and numbers are on a previous post. check out the sites for the last info if you have not already.
