But i can assure you that is plenty of extras. Itīs imposible to put on more extras.

Itīs just to sep you informed about what is going on

It is a pretty sweet quad. Kind of funky looking, but who cares. Its a 2002 technology, liquid cooled, power valved two stroke. Exactly what most people have been crying for (including myself). Unfortunately, getting one is going to be hard. The distribution rights for the US market are up in the air and in a nasty legal battle. For anyone who has followed Gas Gas on the bike scene, you already know that the bikes are brought in and distributed through an independant operation called Gas Gas North America located in Mississippi. Well, the parent company in Spain decided to start up their own distributorship in the US (Florida) and everything is locked down right now. All the parts and bikes are going to the new facility in Florida, but they are not being released to the dealers due to the legal action. Supposedly, it should be resolved sometime in the next month or two.

I just took a look at the website and I must say, it looks nice. If it comes out anytime soon maybe it will usher in a new era of sport quads. But it probably will cost an arm and a leg.

Warrior007, a supermotard is a dirtbike setup with about 8" of suspension and 17" street wheels. Remember the Superbikers race on the Wide World of Sports from the early eighties, the half dirt, half road race? That's what that is. That type of bike is hugely popular in Europe and do have a small cult following in the US. KTM's Duke II is similar in style, but a little more street oriented. As far as the cost goes, I've heard RUMORS (strictly rumors) that the cost is going to be in the 6-7 range, like a Raptor or Cannibal, not higher up like a Speed. As an example, their bikes aren't much more expensive than comparable Japanese bikes.

I was told that they will hit the showrooms in the next 3 months!! One is a 300 2-stoke race ready for around $7k and the other is an efi 400 4-stroke for around $7700. I don’t know if this part is still true or not buy back in 99 when the first prototype was done they were planing on an option of a moto or woods setup, which used different trannies. The woods had a wide ratio 6 gear tranny and the moto had a 4 or 5 close gear tranny. You might want to give Juan (Gas Gas direct) a call at 1-877-9GASGAS or call Daryl (dealer in Kansas City) at 1-970-876-5277(eurodirt's website )[L=]http://www.rof.net/yp/eurodirt/[/L]

lt250r91, that phone number is for the distributor that is losing the rights to the Gas Gas line. I called them today and they gave me a number to contact at the new corporate office in Florida. The guy in Mississippi that I talked to was really cool and you can tell they are bummed about losing the distribution license. All I got was a voice mail at the new number.

Is that HP at the rear wheels, or the crank?

That would be pretty sweet to get ahold of one of those 2-strokes AND 4-strokes to try out at the dunes!!
