ITP or DOUGLAS rims???
#1
I just bought paddles for my 300ex, and now I need rims.It seems everyone is out of the sizes I need, and I need them for Memorial WK. end.My tire size is 22x11x9 and I am wanting else a .125 or.160 guage.Does ITP even make anything but a .190?Which is better ITP or Douglas? And if you can give me some leads on where to find some let me know please? Thanks

I have been told by quad MX racers to go for the .190 rims. We do woods/trail riding around here not as much sand as y'all have I'm sure. They said .125/.160 bend to easy and end up costing more in the long run because of replacement. But that is MXing, sand only you might be ok. This might be one of those cases where spending more $ now would be the wiser thing to do. Let us know what you find!

I ended up getting Douglas .125 everyone is out of .160 which i preferred but, oh well, ill upgrade as i get more aggressive.I found a really cool paddle to try(tread pattern is awesome!)Its a "turbo paddle" manufactued by Kings.Ill be trying them out next wk. end.I did find out that ITP only makes rims in a .190 .

these are for sand paddles, right? if so, IMO they(.125's)are the best wheels to get. they lower your rotating mass, thus make it easier to spin the wheels. in sand you usually don't see the same wheel damaging obstacles as you do in the woods or MX, and you aren't (usually) going to be jumping that big on a 300ex in the sand. so, the .125's make the most of shat Hp you do have.
