Blazer or Blaster

I still stand by my original post. If you want a machine that can be made to go fast, has harsh suspension and is small (notice I said nothing about the brakes because of the 03 Blaster's discs) then get a Blaster. If you want a machine that an adult will like get the Trailblazer. Actually the Blazer is a little better because you can keep one around for company to ride as opposed to trying to teach them how to shift and clutch manually (thus putting wear and tear on a machine). Believe it or not, speed isn't everything. Comfort and ease of use ranks up there too.

"speed is 95% rider, 5 % bike."
mann, I couldn't agree more, except for drag racing. Today, I was riding my 03 Blaster, it has the Toomey B-1 setup, Boyesen Rad Valve, and Razr Tires, when 2 guys showed up on Raptors. They came up behind me, I let them pass, then proceeded to stay on their asses until the guy in front of me must have gotten skeered, waves me past him, so then I passed his buddy, ran 2 laps with him chasing me, and he never could get past me. Oh yeah, Trailblazers suck, but they will beat a blaster,,,,,in reverse.

My friends girlfriend has a trailblazer 400 and its not near as fast as my friends blaster, the blaster looks better, sounds better, IS faster, handles better, and unlike a t-blazer, you can jump a blaster considerably. the obvious choice is, a blaster, altho i recommend niether of these quads.

IT will make an easy 38HP that's on pump gas with just Top-end pipe and a 38MM carb, and 42HP with race port, top-end pipe, 38MM carb. Dyno charts
