Wheelies
#1
hey, i was wondering which was the best way to pull a wheelie, I have a 2002 yamaha warrior, and I find it easier to pull a wheelie just compressing the shocks when goin in about third, and then nailin it, but it looks really bad. I can also do it with the clutch, but I am not very good at it, if anyone has some hints to help do a wheelie with the clutch, please reply, or just any info period
Thanks

I tried my friends Warrior a little bit, but could barely get the tires up in 3rd, however I have only tried like twice. If you can get yours all the way to the balance point in 3rd then you need to find a place in the throttle where you can keep it level (not dropping the front, and not going over backwards). Instinct will tell you to "blip" the throttle, which is needed on some quads, but I think it isn't on yours. It's hard to explain, but on my EX I bring it up on 3rd and then once it hits the balance point I can keep it at about 1/2 throttle or so and keep going. I still have to play around with my tire pressure so I can keep going in a straight line....as of right now I typically go off the road before I have to let the wheelie go down.
Take care.
