Having both a 250sx and a 300ex, I think I can speak on this topic.

The 250sx is a fast bike, but it wouldn't outrun my 300ex--even when the 300 was stock. Yes, they were close, but the 300 still pulled it a little. Now that my 300 has some boltons, it really isn't close.

Sounds like the 300 you were on wasn't tuned properly.

 

i have ridden my friends 300ex, and it is a great machine!!

 

i dont think the 300 was tuned properly either, or somethin. because it makes no sense. a sx just shouldnt beat it.

 

I have a 2002 300ex... And granted I am ready to upgrade, I dont regret for one minute starting out on a 300ex.First of all, I have taken that thing almost everywhere the big boys go,I couldnt climb Choke Cherry on Thunder Mnt(steep part) by any means, but after changing my sprocket and a Yoshi pipe,it does really awesome..You cant compare the 300ex next to a Banshee or a Raptor,they are totally different quads,the300ex is a good one to start out on,I am now ready for bigger power,Oh and BTW~~On a drag...I beat the Raptor all the way to the top of 3rd gear before his power caught up with me, and this was with every race with it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]I reccomed this quad to any entry level rider!!

chad, only you know the conditions of the ride. i know of several good 300ex's.. a best friends wife loves hers [he rides a raptor] they got it cuz of running history, electric start and reverse, and i can tell ya, in tight woods, every time i ride my blaster instead of my raptor i miss the reverse.
but i can smoke to 300ex, I'll bet its more rider than quad tho. hers looks like NEW..
well whatever, dont be too quick to condemn someones ride...nobody wants to hear that their hard earned money went in the dumpster {i have a first year raptor}
but your stroytelling shows some promise. work on that and HAVE FUN!

I agree 100% with you....It should be all about fun,not "im better than you".I feel lucky to just have one,better than not having one at all.!!Now, Im debating what to buy.So many good quads, so little money... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Which trike is faster a 200x or a 250sx?

My Uncle has a 200x that I got to drive for the first time the other night. Let me say that if he lined it up with a 300ex my money would be on him in a drag race. That little trike was pretty quick.

Hey Guys I was out riding today and guess what 400 Big Bears Suck , Why because I was on my wifes butt the whole way to the Hill man and she couldnt get away from my super Fast Lakota Sport man so I came to the conclusion that Big Bears suck , now my daughter was on my butt on a Raptor 80 and this other Dude was on her butt on a Blaster with a Pipe man . So does the Big Bear suck or were we just in line riding on a Trail , Man I dont know but I think I will make this Moronic post anyway . heh Heh Heh , I have so much fun with my insanity .
